an exploration of anything derelict, neglected, unloved, inconsequential, easily ignored, reclaimed, re edited, re purposed, recycled, remixed. And anything else out there we try to ignore, the stuff of the crevices of society. The places we don't go and don't talk about, the times we try to forget. A cinematic look at the shadows of our existence.

Inscape Artists studios
This is the outdoor area of the Inscape Arts which use to be an immigration detention center (up until just a few years back!)
The writing on the wall is that of the detainees who used the tar on the roof to write with and leave their mark on a place I can't imagine being locked up in.
I wish I had seen the building prior to it's change over but nice to share this moment of it's past with my friend.

Washtucna Trailers
Washtucna I love you!
I love this town. Washtucna!
My second trip through with camera- it's been a couple years yet you don't degrade as quickly as more populated places with abandonment.
The main drag, still the tavern is open and in business.
a trailer park down the road is in half alive half asleep state.
I imagine moving here and being the weirdest person in the community.
I also imagine I'd be possibly the only one who has never shot a gun.
