took a train to crystal palace from london bridge i think it was , who can resist a place called crystal palace. there was a park filled with antennae and dinosaurs, a leisure centre and of course the remnants of the old crystal palace complete with sphinxes (which apparently at the time i found extraordinarily interesting)victorian station
