this boat left behind

what is this place but a boat purgatory?
some sort of strange holding zone for a big luxury item that became perhaps someones albatross?
i have driven past this place many times, i am usually the driver, sometime i must stop as i would love to photograph it properly.
why do i find it so odd?

less then shiney boat

i fell in love with this little boat in it's halo glow of later day in the end of what is officially winter.
winter be gone.
here we come little boat soon the masses will flock to the water like the migratory mating season amongst flamingos to the water hole to do their dancing and displaying and massive  massive fornicating.

here's to you little boat and the oncoming season of fornication.
you are not abandoned just a little mossier then the rest.

Ft Casey continued

the lines i love the lines they are awesome and  they rock.
falling can be deadly.

i love forts

what can i say they remind me of what the future i imagined when i read things like brave new world, 1984- even though this is the past it reminds me of a brave new world.the line between sci fi and retro can blend sometimes.
these are like the best playgrounds imaginable.
i love forts.
i do.

doors in a fort casey embankment

like these doors, not for my home- too suspicious of the outside one might appear to be with doors like this.
and it would seem when one appears to be suspicious of the outside the outside becomes suspicious of him.
