Spokane Alley way

I love a good alley way. Whether it be Seattle's over grown gravelly alleys or Spokane's industrial use alleys they all seem more a place of magic and suspense, more so then the street.

One of the oldest and tallest buildings  in Spokane built in  1891.
On the national register of historic buildings since 1975.
Home of the Spokesman Review.
  Architect Chauncey B. Seaton designed it to fit the shape of the lot well, an odd shaped corner. I managed to find his grave but havent found anything interesting about him aside from him  coming to Spokane to help rebuild after it's great fire 1889.

 Spokane Washington . we enjoyed three lovely nights here and i fascinated on whether or not i could live with mountains surrounding me- i never knew i was in love with mountains til i went up Mt Rainer (not all the way, paradise.) and felt how small i was in this place.

well there you have it a large pencil in the garland district. where i also had a little Britain style experience in a charity shop- or Royston Vasey i am not sure which but it was a straight out of  a dark British comedy.
