photographing grain elevators none the less- i did have panic at times seeing winds pick up across the fields and sweeping particulate probably highly wheaty.
the dust devils....
feel asleep watching the "dust bowl" last night on pbs - whitey really doesn't seem to live in harmony with the earth on so many levels..
we need a biodynamic healing revolution ?
or evolution?

whitman country growers, grain elevators

through a heart placed in the Bethel Cemetery grain elevators of whitman county.
these grain elevators really are blights on the undulations  of the Palouse. but their boxy futuristic and historicness blends has a weird undefined time frame. both futuristic and historic at the same time.

i guess it looks like a prison for grain.
This was the day we traveled from grand coulee through palouse via steptoe butte finishing in spokane.
what a day! and many shots taken along the way.
