whitman country growers, grain elevators

through a heart placed in the Bethel Cemetery grain elevators of whitman county.
these grain elevators really are blights on the undulations  of the Palouse. but their boxy futuristic and historicness blends has a weird undefined time frame. both futuristic and historic at the same time.

i guess it looks like a prison for grain.
This was the day we traveled from grand coulee through palouse via steptoe butte finishing in spokane.
what a day! and many shots taken along the way.

A little town called Dusty, Wa

 Dusty Washington in Whitman county.
love dusty.
Birds of prey, cemeteries, agricultural monoliths, rolling palouse. playing with varying heights of blue in the sky...
the cemetery was immaculate   and had a view of the whole of Dusty as cemeteries often do have the best views of the areas.
